Thanks for the bug report. It appears the correct driver for your Nvidia GPU is version 390.143 which does exist in hirsute. You can try installing it by:
sudo apt install nvidia-driver-390 Also, you appear to have some unsupported graphics packages installed from the 'oidbaf' PPA, which is known to cause bugs. Please remove that PPA from your system. ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => nvidia-graphics-drivers-390 (Ubuntu) ** Also affects: software-properties (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - cannot find proper graphics drivers and cannot install + cannot find proper graphics drivers and cannot install (NVIDIA Corporation GF117M [GeForce 610M/710M/810M/820M / GT 620M/625M/630M/720M]) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1932021 Title: cannot find proper graphics drivers and cannot install (NVIDIA Corporation GF117M [GeForce 610M/710M/810M/820M / GT 620M/625M/630M/720M]) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-390/+bug/1932021/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
