Thanks for the bug report.

Please:

1. Reboot, plug in the monitor and reproduce the bug again; a failed
boot or system freeze.

2. Wait 10 seconds while it is frozen.

3. Power off the machine.

4. Unplug the monitor.

5. Boot the machine normally.

6. Run this command:

   journalctl -b-1 > prevboot.txt

7. Attach the resulting text file here.
