Note: if I download: * intel-media-driver-non-free_22.3.0+ds1-1.dsc * intel-media-driver-non-free_22.3.0+ds1.orig.tar.xz * intel-media-driver-non-free_22.3.0+ds1-1.debian.tar.xz
then unpack and rebuild them with dpkg-buildpackage on my own Jammy system, the resulting deb appears to work correctly, as in: * vainfo loads /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/iHD_drv_video.so and works OK * /usr/share/mfx/samples/sample_decode can decode a H.264 video in hardware OK So maybe the published .deb files have been built against some incorrect dependency? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to intel-media-driver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1967575 Title: VAAPI is broken in 22.04 (22.3.0+dfsg1-1) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/intel-media-driver/+bug/1967575/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
