Just tested on Ubuntu Mate 20.04.4 and - second mouse pointer still present on the right edge of the second screen, centered vertically (almost outside of screen just 2-3 pixel inside) as before, no change. - it looks like the artifacts on current mouse pointer no longer present, (not tested enough time, as artifacts does not appear always immediately)
