On Linux you have two or three graphics drivers all working at the same time at different levels:
* Kernel: i915 * Mesa: iris * Xorg: modeset (replaces the old "intel" driver) To confirm which Xorg driver is in use you can find it in the Xorg system log messages: journalctl -b0 /usr/bin/Xorg There should be "modeset(0)" messages instead of "intel(0)". -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1986583 Title: Screen after some time get shifted and starts to overlap To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1986583/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
