Thanks for the quick response! Further symptoms: Strange is that the first time after a (re)start of X it works. But when closing totem, waiting a few seconds, starting it again and dragging its window to the right then X crashes as soon as the video content is supposed to jump to the secondary screen.
Further config details: I disabled Compiz and did not enable KMS (Kernel Mode Setting). I assume the default xorg.conf uses VideoOverlay (and not TexturedVideo) because when it works the first time I see no horizontal size limit of 1536 or 1920 (typical for TexturedVideo). -- X crashes with video overlay on secondary screen (ATI X600) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/461014 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
