Hello.

I'm including the 10-linuxwacom.fdi -file which did the trick for me.
It's based off of "gali98"'s guide within Ubuntu Forums.

The default config which came with Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic (RC) did enable
the stylus and eraser for me, but not touch.

This config enables touch, and I have tried calibrating it as good as
I'm able to. And I'm happy with it. :-)

Just download this config, and copy it to
/usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20thirdparty/10-linuxwacom.fdi (overwriting the
exisiting file).
Then, after a quick reboot, you should be able to use the touch-screen.

It could be you need to calibrate some other way then what I did. In
that case, run the program "wacomcpl" (apt-get install wacom-tools) ,
select the tool you want to calibrate, and touch the spots. :) It will
put the new coordinates into $HOME/.xinitrc

I hope this helps!!

And I hope the wacom-package will drop another linuxwacom.fdi in Karmic,
so that Touch will work by default.

Kind regards from Norway,
Jørn.
