Thanks for the bug report. It appears you no longer have an nvidia kernel driver for the current kernel version. I'm also not sure if such a newer kernel can be supported by the old nvidia 390 driver.
This might just be bug 1975650 so please try reinstalling the driver using the 'Additional Drivers' app or: sudo apt install --reinstall nvidia-driver-390 and reboot. If reinstalling the driver doesn't solve the problem then I wonder if nvidia-390 requires sticking to an older kernel? ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => linux-hwe-6.5 (Ubuntu) ** Tags added: nvidia ** Tags added: regression-update ** Also affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers-390 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2049665 Title: A recent Ubuntu update broke GPU processing in Folding@Home (nVidia GPU) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.5/+bug/2049665/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
