Although ... Maybe that's not a bug?
At 9.04:

1600 frames in 5.0 seconds = 319.971 FPS
1877 frames in 5.0 seconds = 375.284 FPS
1980 frames in 5.0 seconds = 394.966 FPS
1578 frames in 5.0 seconds = 315.511 FPS
XIO: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server ": 0.0"
after 27940 requests (27516 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
Practically also, just shows fps.
But in the 9.04 cogs whirl smoothly, and at 9.10 wryly.
