To everyone else confirming this bug on their laptops:
make sure that you are running the kernel of Ubuntu 9.10, not the one from 9.04.
Please run "uname -a" in the terminal.
If you see "Linux ..... 2.6.31-14-generic" then the bug might be real,
but if you see "Linux ... 2.6.28-..." then you should reboot to the
2.6.31 kernel and check if the bug still appears.
