This looks like a good amount of information. Would you be interested in taking it upstream to the xorg/nouveau component of bugs.freedesktop.org?
I note that you're not using kernel modesetting - upstream is pretty much abandoning the usermode modesetting codepath, so it would be useful to try with KMS enabled. One way that you can do this is to add "nouveau.modeset=1" to your kernel boot parameters from the grub prompt.
