9.10 would not start, flashed on and off in initial startup lines, would
not proceed to graphics. Put in recovery mode, it reported could not
find ati driver. Went to command line and networking: removed and
purged xserver-xorg, then installed xserver-xorg. then dpkg-reconfigure
xserver-xorg. Fires up fine now. Laptop omnibook 6000 pentium 3 700 with
256 mg mem.
