With KMS parameter nouveau.modeset=1 some issues during startup occur:

1. During sartup when showing the ubuntu logo, the resolution with kms is for a
few seconds lower than with kms.
2. Before increasing the resolution, the logo is destroyed for about 5 seconds,
afterwards it seems to reappear with higher resolution.
3. The login screen with kms has a lower resolution than without kms.
4. The first few seconds after login the desktop is a mixture of the desktop
and the login screen. (See attached screenshot)
5. Finally the desktop correctly appears and everything is fine.
