I'm not sure this is an issue with the openchrome driver. I copied the openchrome driver from jaunty ltsp to the karmic ltsp, well expecting it wouldn't work at all, because it was compiled for a different kernel. But the system boots up and shows the same fault symptoms as with the current and upstream openchrome video drivers, Xorg.7.log attached.
