I followedthe guide to create the file 10-linuxaiptek.fdi, in the directory /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy. Hovering above the tablet works until the first click (either tip or button) from then on it works mouse like (relative), clicks don't do anything noticeable from then on (no selecting or drawing possible). As the document states:"Some tablets (6000U, 12000U, 14000U) seems to use Wacom drivers, if you experience problems with button presses (Your mouse pointer freezes), but you can move the cursor try the updated packets for Wacom." I removed the xserver-xorg-input-aiptek package but this didn'change anything. Still the aiptek kernel module is being loaded and the results remainthe same. I have an Aiptek 12000U tablet.
