After installing nvidia driver on a fresh installation of 9.10 Beta (Linux

GNU/Linux) I got a black screen after reboot.
I had to manually erase xorg.conf and reboot to have an operational system but
without any hardware acceleration.
Even though the screen was completely black I could
CTL ALT F2 to switch to the 2nd console
Login, then sudo and rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf all this blindly. So the system
itself was operational.
