This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest Karmic 9.10 release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .
If the issue remains, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal) while running Karmic. It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report. apport-collect -p linux 290557 ** Changed in: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- atheros wifi broken with hardy update [wext/madwifi] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290557 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24 in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
