#8 raised a good question.
Is this a different bug, and has it been reported yet?

Even if I uninstall the xserver-xorg-video-nv package and use plain vesa, with
or without xorg.conf, I do not get the xserver to start. I tried everything, no
xserver. If the devs need more info, just let me know. I even tried newer glx
drivers from sevenmachines.
A wild guess into the blue, there xserver cannot decide what driver to use?

PS: karmic running fine
