Ok, TOTAL noob. My computer freezes and will not come back even after
sustained "recovery" time. It seems to happen when I am on the internet
using Firefox. I have to hard reset my computer, which I HATE doing,
just to get it to go again. This morning it "crashed(?)" four times
while I was using it.

The whole system freezes at random intervals. I cannot determine whats causing
it other than it seems to happen when I am on the internet using Firefox. I
have to hard reset my computer because the system never returns.
