Using DELL Inspiron 510m with Ubuntu Karmic with
xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.9.0-1ubuntu2
the work around proposed by yositune does not work for me, so may be the
problem is not the same
On lid off, i got a freeze black screen, the mouse pointer appears but
can't move, an i'm obliged to hard reboot
