I just tried to install 10.04 Alpha 2 and I cannot install it because of this bug. I have no propper control over my mouse, because with my MacBook Pro 4,1 the DVD is spinning and causes vibrations that are detected by the sensor and it repositioned it back to the center of the screen. I could only complete the installation by keyboard. Plugging an USB mouse into the laptop didn't improve the situation.
