*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 380017 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/380017
Hello, I think I have the same bug, even though it should already be fixed. Maybe a regression? I'm running karmic (updated from jaunty) on a dell inspiron 1501, kernel 2.6.31-17-generic, fully updated. The cursor flickers heavily when the system is busy - not mattering which "image" the cursors has (text, arrow, spinning wheel). I first thought it is because I installed "unclutter", but I have added the -noevents flag and it still happens. If I should open a new bug, please let me know. But I have the impression it's the same bug as this one. I am attaching the output of lspci -vvnn and the /var/log/Xorg.0.log. Regards. ** Attachment added: "lspci-vvnn.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/38578111/lspci-vvnn.txt -- Busy mouse cursor flickers like mad https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/418703 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is the registrant for xf86-video-intel. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
