** Description changed: Binary package hint: kubuntu-kde4-desktop When I enable the snow in the desktop effects and after that the desktop cube, the screen becomes messy showing the twisted kubuntu logo. There`s no way out of there, only switching to console and restart the system. Someone have removed the magic CTRL+ALT+BCKSPACE and seems that I have no other way. This is the clean Kubuntu Karmic alpha 5 install on my notebook (ASUS A3Fc, Intel Core Solo, GMA950), compositing enabled by default. The desktop cube works ok by itself. The bug repeats after couple of reboots.
