yes, xrandr lets me change xgamma for each monitor - thanks for the tip - BUT this doesn't help with firefox sometimes thinking it needs to make a colour correction and sometimes not.
I do not think this is a firefox bug. After running the xrandr gamma commands, firefox began rendering purplish blues again. This suggests to me that something between xrandr and firefox misinterprets colour information. This may also be relevant: http://www.color.org/version4html.xalter It shows that firefox 3.6 only supports ICC version 2 color profiles. I'm unable to tell what ICC version colour profiles are in the two test images I posted before. -- adding second monitor changes colors/colours in first monitor https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/522167 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
