Binary package hint: xorg
i have acer travelmate 4601 ati x700 display card. i daily update lucid this is
third time i got gdm and xorg problem. ati driver problem.
yesterday lucid update 22 feb 2010 in morning. no desktop no gui, only ubunut
splash screen is showing. so alt+f1 i got login in user and try $sudo service
gmd stop
unknown instance.
$sudo startx
segmentation error. showing.
in Xorg.0.log
