Thank you for taking the time to report this problem in Ubuntu Lucid. The automatic reporting of this kind of bug is not quite mature yet, so you may experience a bug in the bug reporting system or a bug in the intel xorg stack. Could you upload the output of the command `dmesg` and /var/log/Xorg.0.log from right after apport says the problem occurred?
