I did not know how to report the details in the same bug, so I reported another bug, I apologize. The symptoms are the same: Slow down the system especially when using compiz, a dock (in this case the Docky) or when I see a video on youtube. I also have a laptop with ubuntu 9.10, compiz and Docky and everything works fine, without slowing down.
