Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
Hi, I have a MacBook 5,1 generation. When I try to connect a external screen (a HP w2207) through the Mini Display port the monitor "crashes". Please look at this picture http://tinyurl.com/yb284wj it will explain it better than I can do. What I've tried: * Enable and disable with Display application * Disable Gnome-Shell * Disable Compiz * Have the screen connected from start. (Doesn't work, bug #529563) * Run with the stock drivers from Live-CD, then both screens goes blank.
