I'm glad the problem is fixed. Apport is a program that is used for reporting bugs, and as far as I can tell it is not what is crashing. The video card is what is crashing and this is running code from ppa:apw/red. This code is not from the Official Ubuntu Repositories, which is why I asked you to report it to the package developer.
