This bug affects me as well. Good to hear that it will be fixed soon. Though it seems as of right now it is available in Lucid repositories. I feel that while an archive freeze may be in effect, a notice should be made available to users. This could be easily done on the Beta 1 Known Issues section and would probably aid users who trust Ubuntu to provide reliable software through its official repositories.
