Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
My touchpad stops working once logged into GNOME. The touchpad works as expected in GDM. Expected: Touchpad works normally after logged into desktop. Actually happened: Touchpad stopped responding during the GDM -> Desktop transition. To reproduce: Start Lucid and log in. Mouse will stop working once logged in. This happened even through reboots. I managed to get the mouse working by switching to a VT (ctrl+alt+f1) and then back to X (ctrl+alt+f8).
