Thankyou for taking the time to look into this. I'm new to bug reporting and looking at Beta versions of Ubuntu and am enjoying it. I can understand that there are more important bugs to look at. I will have a new machine in less than a year so it doesn't really matter for me but helping out others that have a similar setup to my current machine was my main aim. It does seem to have improved somewhat since the next round of updates but I am on Karmic at present, so will have more of a look later.
