Thank you for reporting this bug, Matt. Could you attach the output of
`xrandr --verbose` from when the problem happens and when it doesn't.
Occationally, the output configuration changes when running this command
(even though it shouldn't). Let us know if this is the case.

It could also be useful if you could add the kernel parameter
drm.debug=0x04 when doing this and attach the output of `dmesg`.
