Hi Timuckun, I notice that you have an xorg.conf which is setting the virtual resolution, and your Xorg.0.log indicates it's discarding a lot of possible resolutions because it's unable to fit them in. Please try moving your /etc/X11/xorg.conf aside, which should resolve the issue.
Since it sounds like this is a user configuration issue needing technical support rather than a true defect report, I will move this over to the support tracker. ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Incomplete -- External Monitor does not display when X is running https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/548710 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
