** Description changed: Binary package hint: xorg In Ubuntu 10.04, on an i3 processor with 2.13 GHz, and an Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator, I cannot run the Desktop Effects. I can turn them on, but about every hour or so, the computer will freeze. I though it might be the CPU getting too hot, however, it doesn't appear that there isn't any hooks for me to see what the temperature is. Also, when they are turned off, I can run 3d programs just fine without crashing the system, which causes me to believe that it's a problem with the effects themselves.
