Some days before I also tried "sudo dpkg-divert --remove --rename --package xorg-driver-fglrx --divert /usr/lib/fglrx/libGL.so.1.2.xlibmesa /usr/lib/libGL.so.1.2 > /dev/null ", but every time I started a OGL application I got a memory error. I upgraded my packages today, installed "fglrx, fglrx-amdcccle" and used "sudo aticonfig --initial". Now the bug is gone and OpenGL works fine again.
