And now my system is broken in strange and horrible ways. I moved off my xorg.conf, rebooted, and adjusted my BIOS.
After attempting to boot, the kernel printed out traces. At least, I'm reasonably certain it's the kernel. I restored the BIOS to the previous setting, and attempted to boot again. I'm not sure what's wrong, but I don't get a splash screen on either output, I can change virtual terminals but none of them display anything. The nvidia card isn't outputing anything. The onboard is just a blank screen. And sshd isn't running. (I'm using a 9.04 UNR flash drive I have to restore xorg.conf and hopefully get a working system again.) -- Compiz and glx* fail on glXCreateContext https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/560506 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
