You have been subscribed to a public bug: I am not sure where this bug really belongs, so please forgive me for just picking out kdm to file the bug against. I'm afraid I don't fully understand the kde4 achitecture, so it is difficult for me to find out where the cause of the problem I've experienced really sits.
I am using Opera 10.10 on Lucid beta. In the last few days it happened occasionally, that when opening certain web pages in Opera, it crashes and taked the whole Xsession with it. So I click on a link (reproducibly on http://www.hgp-druckerservice.de), the screen goes black and after a second or so the kdm logon is presented. I'm appending a section of the .xsession-errors file. I also have the binary Opera crash file(s) which I believe are of not much interest here. I'll forward them to the opera guys. Since Opera crashes in the first place, I will file a bug there too. But from my understanding of the issue, something might be wrong outside of opera if a "simple" crash is able to take the whole graphical interface down. Please feel free to push this issue where it belongs and let me know how I can be of help.
