status invalid We've definitely never shipped the Gallium3D driver and I'm pretty sure we've never shipped the classic mesa driver in the official Ubuntu archives. Upstream is not interested in supporting 3D (as in: caring very much about bugs that don't have a fix attached) yet, and we're not going to support it before them :).
You may be thinking of the xorg-edgers PPA, which contains a build of mesa with both the classic DRI and Gallium3D drivers. ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- 3D acceleration for legacy cards is missing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/568155 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-nouveau in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
