Unfortunately without any logs we can't dig into it much deeper, and from what you have posted I can see you are using xorg-edgers which is prone to breakage given the daily updates. If possible, can you please install ppa-purge from there, then use ppa-purge to remove all xorg- edgers packages, reboot, then ensure you can reproduce this problem. If you can reproduce, please run apport-collect 547175 to attach the logs we will need automatically.
