Maybe you didn't hold shift down early enough Vilius? Works for me. I can then choose from two kernels. I choose the earlier one, and not the recovery mode options. Choosing a recovery mode option means I then have to further select a recovery display (I forget what that subsequent option was called) to get a less good display resolution, whereas if I just select a previous kernel (only two are on offer to me) I eventually get to my best display (after some heart-stopping messages about cannot mount, and doesn't exist, and then nothing, and then finally a screenful of scrolling text, before a decent launch of 10.04). Be nice if they do eventually manage to fix this, but I can work with it, sort of... with my Intel 855 card -- [i855] 10.04 rc boots into black/blank screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/568779 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
