Public bug reported: Hi,
after upgrading my machine from 9.10 to 10.04 (01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon HD 3200 Graphics) moving windows, scrolling etc. has become extremely slow, obviously hardware support is missing. I also had trouble removing the fglrx package for testing, since the postrm script tried to undivert /usr/lib/libGL.so.1.2 which was missing, thus causing dpkg-divert to abort with error and making the package unremovable (without manual interaction). I guess both problems have the same reason, a missing link or lib file, which causes the X server to not have GL support and the removal script to fail. regards ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: fglrx 2:8.723.1-0ubuntu4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-21.59-generic Uname: Linux 2.6.31-21-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Sat May 1 13:23:49 2010 DkmsStatus: virtualbox-ose, 3.1.6, 2.6.31-21-generic, i686: installed fglrx, 8.723.1, 2.6.32-22-generic, i686: installed MachineType: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
