Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
When attaching a second monitor to my laptop using VGA and launching 'gnome-display-manager' both screens shows a corrupted image. Restarting GDM switches to a mirrored, non-corrupted image. The default resolution on the laptop-screen in 1400x1050 with no xorg.conf I've also noticed that switching from X to VT1 back to X when adding "Virtual 2424 1050" to xorg.conf freezes the laptop. Not sure if it is related.
