scratch my previous post please. The problem continues to plague my system and I had to both delete the symlink "libGL.so.1" again and switch to the "nv" driver in order to start X and KDE properly this time. Perhaps this issue is related to changes in the way the nvidia driver is handled?
I tried to delete all nvidia related packages and install nvidia- current, but to no avail. -- After upgrade 9.10 to 10.04, using nvidia, KDE4 starts for a second, then dies https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/572937 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
