The AntSpotlight still freezes this Averatec 3280 laptop, running Lucid 10.04, updated to 4 May 2010.
The display controller is: VGA compatible controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. K8M800/K8N800/K8N800A [S3 UniChrome Pro] (rev 01) The video driver is xserver-xorg-video-openchrome/lucid uptodate 1:0.2.904+svn827-1 When testing this, one should be sure to set the screensaver master program to count a long period, like the maximum of 2 hours, before selecting AntSpotlight. Then this screensaver won't automatically start when the system freezes and is rebooted by switching it off! There is no problem with this screensaver on another system with an openchrome display driver: VGA compatible controller: VIA Technologies, Inc.
