I've installed Lucid (a dual boot on the same hardware) now to test this issue.
Result: Lucid has fixed the problem. Additionally I don't get the picture corruption reported by my colleague either. As a side note: the open source radeon driver is now working almost perfectly in Lucid too (eg dual head, one rotated monitor, compiz enabled etc). So probably I will stop using fglrx and switch to the radeon driver when I migrate my main system to Lucid. ** Changed in: fglrx-installer (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released -- Duplicate mouse pointer on dual head with rotated display(s) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/509331 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to fglrx-installer in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
