Hello, here is the first nvidia user with the same problem. I have an nvidia quadro fx 1700 with enabled adaptive clocking. Every time the device switches clock frequency there is a flickering on the screen. You can reproduce it using nvidia-settings -> powermizer -> Powermizer Settings and change preferred mode.
