You have been subscribed to a public bug: I have two HD5870s in CrossfireX, with the drivers recommended by Ubuntu.
I am getting extremely bad tearing in GNOME when I drag something across the screen even when the effects are turned off. I have tried using compiz config-settings-manager to change the settings but it didn't remove the problem (only made it different). Enabling v-sync in the ATI control panel also has no effect, nor does disabling CrossfireX. I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS x64. ** Affects: fglrx-installer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: ati crossfire crossfirex gnome horizontal lts tearing ubuntu -- Horizontal tearing in GNOME https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/584733 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to fglrx-installer in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
