Hi Hunk. 1. yes, that's what I wanted to do. My old netbook had an 1024x600 (16:9) screen. I dont know if that was your only question.
2. I'm afraid I can't use your xorg.conf because I sold the netbook. So I can't help you. Maybe phpmonkey can.
