Public bug reported:
nvidia-current Provides xserver-xorg-video-6, but maverick’s xserver-
xorg Depends xserver-xorg-video-7, and xserver-xorg-core Breaks xserver-
xorg-video-6. nvidia-graphics-drivers needs to be rebuilt to pick up
the ABI number change.
No source modifications are necessary, since the Provides line is
generated automatically from /usr/share/xserver-xorg/videoabiver, and
upstream already supports Xorg server 1.8.
(I’ve tested this in my PPA and have been using the rebuilt driver for
two days.)
